As a food critic I would never judge a food establishment after one visit as it would be unfair. But I have come here many times usually twice a week as I also volunteer at the school down the road and it is very conveniently placed for when I leave for lunch. I am always politely greeted when I walk in and the staff are very friendly. Although I usually have the same two things due to the other deals being rather over-priced despite my love for different flavours, the food i have is usually good quality and chips are well cooked which seems to becoming a rarity in chip shops in recent times. The two meals i usually have are the small fish and chips and the large battered sausage and chips, which are both well priced at 1.95. I often sit in to eat to stay out of the cold and that allows me to see that the staff always seem to have conversations with customers when they are not needing to serve another and the speak as if they are friends to everyone. Though I am a regular I never have a conversation myself as it may cause my review to be biased.
