Stuck away from home, sick of hotel food so ventured in. Great greeting from knowledgeable bar tender.Able to eat in large bar area, nothing was too much trouble. Even had a tapas menu tonight. And the risotto was the best I have had in 15 years + Cannot find a fault. Staff are a credit to the restaurant. Just wish I wasn't driving and could have sampled the wine and gin. I'll definitely be back when in the area!
I've had great meals here previously. And my dinner this time was good. However two people in our party became ill and had to leave early. Don't know if it was the food?
Good food, all the pasta dishes I've tried here are very good and the pizzas are excellent. Drinks selection is great too, especially the cocktails that my wife loves and a 241 everyday until 7pm and 12 for 2 after 7pm your in for a winner!
The place was very busy with a good atmosphere. We were expecting a wait for the food to arrive as it was busy ,but this wasn't the case . We chose to have steak from the menu and were pleasantly surprised to find it was steak night and the steak was 10.00 instead of 18.99 . Apart from the terrific price, the staff and service they provided was excellent and we couldn't have been more happy. I will be a returning customer in the future and highly recommend that you give this venue a try.
Great food and reasonably priced, really varied menu. Does get very busy on a Sunday so good idea to book a table. Service a little slow when they are really busy but worth the wait. They did forget 1 meal but manager very quick to apologise and it wasn't long before it came and got 2 free drinks to make up for it. Would definitely go again.
