There is only one doctor there and he is rude and unprofessional, doesn't seem to care and has a poor opinion of his patients. The rest are locum doctors and are polite.Receptionists are polite, depending who you get, some are not and try to fob you off. My opinion is to AVOID this practice at all costs.Try Kirkby Community primary care centre on Portland Street. They are much nicer.

Avoid avoid avoid. When we had to wait 2 weeks to register because my partner was pregnant should have been a red flag - eventually saw the Dr ( who did seem professional and caring) and all he did was check blood pressure, take a urine sample and listen to her chest - the biggest thing he did was arranging the midwife appointment. My gf had a blood test taken and 5 days later they call her and asked for it to be taken again. Obviously she was panicking until we knew why as the receptionist wouldn't say on the telephone - we asked on arrival *sorry I'm not medically qualified to explain".So we asked the Nurse (who took the blood the first time) what was the reason for the retest so she went off to check why... We were naturally relived when she said the sample had been rejected by the lab rather than an abnormal result.Blood taken after multiple tries (it hard to draw blood from my partner's veins) and we thought that was the end of that.A week later received a phone call asking to have the same blood test AGAIN. Had to be firm to ask WHY it was required as "I'm not medically qualified but come in for another blood test" doesn't cut it.Then it was revealed it was the same administrative error which is why it needed to be taken for a 3rd time.Mistakes do happen but surely twice is just careless and the receptionist not being forthcoming with the reasons for retesting just causes unnecessary worrying and it's rather disingenuous to say "I'm not medically qualified".Ironically, there's notices in the waiting room stating receptionists may need to ask what's wrong with you to book an appointment... All without being medically qualified....

Really lovely people, all the time they helped me out
