Brilliant place for a stroll along any of the footpaths and theres a lot.Dont matter what season of the year it is . Visitor centre is dog friendly and the food is good at a reasonable price. lovely lake for fishing, Day permits available at visitor centre..Free parking. ..
A very well maintained forest park with lots to keep the kids entertained. The new adventure park caters to all ages; from baby swings to climbing aparatus for teens. The cafe serves good food at very reasonable prices.
Lovely walks through the forest. The new adventure playground is great for kids under 12. Cafe does hot drinks and snacks at reasonable prices.
The new owners of the cafe are incredibly welcoming and the food was delicious. Wide variety of mains and puddings and so reasonably priced. I recommend the flat bread pizza, not had something so delicious in ages
Lovely dog walking. Main paths are crushed stone so not muddy. Easy to get about. Nice wildlife areas. Free parking. Cafe or cob van. Free toilets
