Council want us to mow their grass . The only problem I have is I am not insured if their is an accident to another person or property , I am also not an employee of Council . They ask for a lot of personal medical information if you want them to mow your grass which is none of their business as its their grass . Accidents happen and cannot afford to be sued for mowing councils grass. Shame , shame , shame
Ashfield Council Rangers are the worst people working there, NASTY AND UNREASONABLE! All they care about it's their stats at the end of month. Absolutely REVENUE RASING. DISGUSTING AND UNJUSTIFIED
I set the park brake on the motor vehicle in a two hour car park on Elizabeth street Croydonand stepped out of the vehicle to see with shock a parking inspector standing at the front wheel of the vehicle with a piece of chalk poised to mark the tyre.I asked if he was going to mark the tyre, he said yes.I have parked vehicles over the last 30 years in all the states in Australia,USA and not once have I experienced such enthusiasm as this guy possessed to commence the time.I do not object to him marking tyres and making sure people have a FAIR go when parking a motor vehicle.This is over the top zealous behaviour driven by greed.All he had to do was walk a block to the corner,Return and mark tyres of vehicles unattended.Greedy behaviour instilled by a greedy council.If less money was wasted by these institutions less over zealous revenue raising would be necessary.
Tried ringing three times. Phone rang out twice, and was answered at teh very last second the third time I called. Excuse? Must be short staffed, he says. Are you kidding me? Great customer service. You'd think with the high rates of unemployment you could pick and choose your staff. Please don't waste my money on incompetent staff - and get yourself a decent telephone system, not one that rings out. Are we living in the dark ages? Oh, sorry, I forgot, you are.
Mostly about the library,It was pretty good before the renovations, despite it being rather small - relatively speaking to it's current size.But honestly, I don't know why whoever designed the renovations decided to leave the children's area completely open. Not only is it completely disruptive, it's plagued with screaming and crying children almost all day, and every day. I'm not against children throwing tantrums, it's a natural thing they do. But just the fact that it's audible in most of the library, including the quiet study is somewhat counter-intuitive.Honestly the place feels more like a daycare than a library at this point.
