Great site. Nice walk to local pub. Great walks on your doorstep for dogs and good cycling too
We frequently drive from the New Forest to Huddersfield and stop at this site. Great size, flat, pitches, friendly helpful staff and probably the best shower block Ive ever found on any site. Opposite is the Silverhill Country Park - great for walks, and a short walk away is The Carnarvon pud - great food!
Another great stay. Everything as before, friendly and helpful staff, site clean tidy and cared for, superb toilets and well stocked shop. Area around great for dog walking. Close by is the visitors center; great egg and bacon cob and dog friendly also! Good pub down the road.
First class facilities. One of the best campsites I have been to in the UK. Didn't give 5 stars because shower water started hot, then got cooler. Might be fine for some. Helpful, friendly staff.
Great site, great location for walking. Superb toilet facilities 1st class, I'd say there the best I've had so far. So nice having your own wet room with plenty of space and your dressing area not wet. Definitely will be back. Makes a nice break.
